Alice, TX - July 24, 2008 - SNBL USA, one of the nation’s leading preclinical testing companies, is providing an update on its Texas facility, SNBL USA Scientific Resource Center (SNBL USA SRC). Since its opening in July 2007, SNBL USA SRC continues to grow to meet the industry’s on-going demand for the availability of high quality nonhuman primates (NHPs).

The vision for SNBL USA SRC is to build a facility specifically designed to provide: SPF Production Breeding; Maintenance of Client-Specific Colonies; Specialized Model Development; Extensive Laboratory Services; Test Systems Pre-trained for Study Activities; Genetic and Viral Screening; and Large Quarantine Capabilities. The current update of SNBL USA SRC demonstrates the on-going progression in providing these services to the industry.

SNBL USA SRC’s current build out phase includes:

• Steady increase in total animal capacity
• Construction of additional colony housing buildings
• Construction of a multi-purpose building that will include a surgery suite, designated clinical laboratory, hospital, and extensive treatment/processing rooms

With on-going construction of the Texas facility, SNBL USA continues to build for the future.
