Exhibitor Hosted Session slated for Monday, March 16, 2009 from 1:30pm – 2:30pm in Baltimore Convention Center, Room 336.

Everett, WA – February 11, 2009 – SNBL USA is hosting a session entitled “Embryology of Nonhuman Primates: Principles for Understanding Developmental Toxicology Study Designs Supporting Regulatory Submissions.” This presentation session will be held during the upcoming 48th Annual Society of Toxicology Meeting taking place in Baltimore, MD next month.

Dr. Norbert Makori, a leading industry expert in the field of developmental and reproductive toxicology, will provide an overview of the current trends in developmental toxicology study designs supporting regulatory submissions. Targeted topics include:

  • Understanding the female cynomolgus monkey reproductive physiology and embryology and how this influences dosing design regimens in early pregnancy
  • Ease of obtaining data for teratology (Seg II) in a modified pre/post-natal study design (Seg III) without the need for actual C-sections, fetal necropsy and classical teratology evaluations

A dedicated Question & Answer session will follow the presentation. Dr. Makori and Dr. Satoru Oneda, a fellow SNBL USA DART study director with over 20 years of CRO experience, will be available to answer attendees’ questions. Join us in Room 336 at the Baltimore Convention Center on Monday, March 16 at 1:30pm for this interactive session. We look forward to seeing you in Baltimore.
